Islamic Economic Concepts Perspective of Imam Abu Yusuf and Imam Al-Ghazali: A Comparative Study

This research departs from the rule of fiqhiyah which states that sharia must bring benefits to ummah. In relation Islamic economy, this can be realized in policies a leader who oriented towards benefit ummah, both materially and spiritually. case, Abu Yusuf al-Ghazali his book describes problem. Therefore, aims reveal concept economics two figures raised. By using qualitative library methodology (Library Research). The data analysis technique uses comparative descriptive historical approach. resulted conclusion book, laying foundations fiscal policy based on justice al-maslahah al-'ammah (public benefit). Opinion has similarities with what was described by Imam namely basis set authorities is solely for maslahah al-din wa al-dunya (good / world hereafter).
